Earthing switches are mechanical switching devices used for earthing parts of high voltage power systems. Earthing switches are capable of withstanding short-time current, but not required to carry line current under normal conditions of the power system.
EMEK Earthing Switches are;
Three or single phase
Designed for use in open-air high voltage substations.
Vertical opening single break
Supplied as either manual or motor operated
Suitable for local and remote control
Rated short-time current: up to 40kA/3 sec
Brown or gray porcelain or polymer insulator.
