The policies described in this document apply to all Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. employees, Board Members, subsidiaries, suppliers, intermediaries, contractors, agents, and all third parties with whom Emek collaborates, in short, Emek and all EMPLOYEES WORKING IN ITS SUBSIDIARIES. All employees of Emek and its subsidiaries are expected to comply with Emek's policies.
Employee Compensation Policy
The compensation policy of our company for Employees was established on the basis of the applicable Labor Law No. 4857. In this context, the compensation payments to our employees are made in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Labor Law No. 4857 and the surviving article 14 of the repealed Labor Law No. 1475.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT POLICY
The purpose of this Environmental Management Policy (the "Policy") is to create a guide that reflect the approach of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. and its subsidiaries to environmental management in line with the “Planearth” Sustainability Strategy, and in this way, to emphasize the importance that it attaches to the implementation, sustainment, and management of environmental consciousness for the employees, stakeholders, business partners, customers, and communities in all geographies where it does business. All companies and employees of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. are obliged to act in accordance with this Policy. Every Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. and employee expects all its stakeholders and business partners to act in accordance with this Policy to the extent applicable to the relevant party and/or transaction, and to take the necessary steps to ensure this.

SUSTAINABILITY POLICY
The purpose of this Sustainability Policy (the "Policy") is to create a guide that reflect the approach of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. and its subsidiaries to sustainability in line with the “Planearth” Sustainability Strategy, and in this way, to reduce the adverse environmental and social impacts for the employees, stakeholders, business partners, customers, and communities in all geographies where it does business, to get its approach and governance towards increasing positive influence adopted and to emphasize its importance.
Severance Pay
Employees who worked in our company for at least one year and whose employment agreement has been terminated according to one of the situations that require the payment of severance pay to the employee (or, if the employee has died, to the employee's legal heirs) specified in the provisions of Article 14 of Labor Law No. 1475, which was superseded by Labor Law No. 4857, are paid a severance pay of 30 days' salary for each full year of service
Notice Pay
Pursuant to Labor Law No. 4857, the employment agreement can be terminated by notifying the personnel working with an employment agreement of an indefinite duration whilst providing job seeking leave and also, it can be terminated immediately by paying the fee and other rights related to the notice period in advance. In the event employment agreements are terminated except for the cases written in Article 25 of Labor Law by the employer, the following notice periods apply in line with Article 17 of Labor Law:
· For an employee with a tenure of fewer than 6 months: 2 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure between 6 months and 1.5 years: 4 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure between 1.5 years and 3 years: 6 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure of more than 3 years: 8 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
General Principles
ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, owned by Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. within the scope of integrated management system certification, forms the basic framework of the company's work in the field of environment. Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. Environmental Management principles of companies are constituted by the environmental legislation in the countries where they operate, the basic principles and principles determined within the framework of international agreements on environmental management, standards, initiatives and national legislation. All companies of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. carry out their activities in a transparent manner in line with this Policy, taking into account sectoral expectations and needs in their offices and project areas. Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. strategy, procedures and standards on environmental management at the level of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. coordinated by the Sustainability and Environment Department.
1.CODE of PRACTICE of THE POLICY
We Emek Elektrik act in line with the principle of responsible production and service in all our production facilities, processes, activities, services, and technologies that we develop within the framework of the “Planearth” sustainability strategy, which is compatible with the global goals. We undertake to carry out all our activities within the framework of applicable laws and regulations, to comply with all the standards determined by our company, and to strive to exceed the expectations of those including but not limited to our stakeholders and project partners. We carry out our activities within the framework of the following 6 basic principles in line with the Environmental Management Policy of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş.
1. Preventing environmental pollution and increasing environmental consciousness:
· complies with all national and international environmental obligations and legal regulations to which it is subject in order to control environmental impacts in all its activities;
· stries to leave a clean environment for both its customers and society and future generations by improving its environmental management system for the continuity of its environmental performance;
· acts with the conscious of protecting our environment, in this sense, displays a reliable corporate environment-friendly image; supports and leads its employees, customers and all stakeholders in cooperation with this conscious and aims to be a leader in its field;
· determines the environmental risks of its current and future new investments and businesses, evaluates its environmental impacts, uses environmentally friendly products and reduces or removes the environmental impact of its activities through environmentally friendly practices; makes responsible production by constantly measuring, monitoring and controlling their environmental impacts;
· designs and uses curative, safe and environment-friendly technological products that are sensitive to biosystems and ecosystems, that will benefit our planet and society;
· considers the life cycle and end-of-life environmental impacts while designing and developing its products and services, and takes the necessary mitigation measures at the design stage.
· follows, implements, develops and adapts global developments of environmental management and good practices to all its activities.
2. Responsible use of energy and natural resources:
· acts responsibly while consuming resources (energy, water and all other natural resources), applies the best available techniques (BAT) to reduce its environmental impacts and uses them efficiently, and uses environment-friendly technologies;
· takes measures to prevent loss of energy and water, constantly monitors its consumption, develops and uses technologies and products that monitor resource consumption and increase efficiency;
· before the establishment phase of its new enterprises, plans and initiates all processes in the construction and purchasing process for the most efficient use of energy and water consumption in its activities;
· develops and uses products and technologies that increase the use of renewable energy resources and supports studies.
3. Protection of all underground & surface water resources and marine resources, responsible use of water resources:
· conducts qualitative and quantitative risk assessment for water resource sensitivity, carry out applications and studies to minimize and eliminate all the possible risks before initiating all its activities;
· prevents the pollution of water and marine resources in the geography and areas where it operates; by preventing the environmental impacts of all its activities at their source;
· uses water resources responsibly and contributes to increasing access to clean water for the community;
· develops technologies that enable efficient use and monitoring of water resources.
4. Mitigating and adapting to climate change:
· acts with the principles of efficient use of energy and low greenhouse gas emissions and apply this principle during purchasing, design and construction activities;
· acts with the principle of responsible production, plans 'carbon neutral' practices in its newly established enterprises at the design stage and applies it from the bottom construction stage in line
5. Adopting circular economy and zero waste practices as a principle:
· acts with the 'zero waste' principle and 'circular economy' approach in all its activities, production facilities and offices; implements reuse, recycling and recovery projects as much as possible in order to reduce and prevent waste generation at its source; disposes non-recyclable waste in a way that does not harm the environment, in accordance with laws and regulations.
6. Contributing to the conservation and improvement of biodiversity and ecosystems:
· carries out all its activities in favor of the protection and recovery of the biosystem and ecosystem, prevents soil and land degradation, cooperates and carries out activities to protect the balance of all ecosystems on a global scale, especially endangered species, and to increase biodiversity.
POWERS and RESPONSIBILITIES
All Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. companies and employees are obliged to comply, adopt and develop this Policy in a transparent manner. Emek Elektrik also expects its Business Partners to comply with this Policy in a transparent manner to the extent applicable to the relevant party and/or transaction, and takes the necessary steps accordingly. In case of a difference between this Policy and the local legislation applicable in the countries where Emek Elektrik operates, the more restrictive policy or legislation will apply, to the extent that the relevant application does not contradict the local legislation. The Sustainability and Environment Department of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. is the unit responsible for the implementation of this Policy. If you become aware of any action that you consider to be contrary to this Policy, applicable legislation or Community procedures and standards, you may consult or report this matter to your supervisor or the Sustainability and Environment Department.

All companies of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. carry out their activities in a transparent manner in line with this Policy, taking into account industrial expectations and needs in their offices and project areas.
CODE of PRACTICE of THE POLICY

We carry out our activities within the framework of the following basic principles in line with the
Sustainability Policy of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. that:
1. assesses, monitors, measures the environmental and social impacts and risks of its
activities, and manages it by reducing or preventing it at its source by using the cuttingedge technologies.
2. provides safe, sustainable and highest quality service in all its activities; develops
technology and products that are environmentally friendly and beneficial to humans In line
with its Quality policy.
3. designs and produces all of its products with a sustainable and environmentally friendly
responsibility, in a way that will never give harm to human health, ecosystem and
biodiversity.
4. promise to produce or develop innovations for people and industries, that will never
encourage anyone to use of weapons, commit a crime or go in conflict, and also are never
incentive to addictive harmful substances-use such as alcohol and tobacco.

takes into account the risks it may pose on all business activities, plays a leading role in the
global fight against climate change by meeting the changing industry dynamics with the
neutral carbon target and zero-waste principle in all its new operations and the low
emission principle in its new products in line with the principles of its Environmental
Management Policy.
10.within the frame of legal regulations and practices related to occupational health and
safety, it shows preventive, corrective and protective approaches to its employees by
providing a healthy and safe work environment, and improves its processes in this regard
by continuously following its Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
11.approaches with the awareness that every person has the right to live a healthy, social and
economic life; In line with the principles of Human Resources Policy provides an
equitable and safe working environment for all its employees, partners, stakeholders and
customers, respecting human rights, social justice and working rights; thereby increases
consciousness and awareness.
12.adopts Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Principle across all business; support gender
equality, rejects any form of discrimination and employ individuals independent of gender,
language, religion, sect, race, color, political thought, any belief, origin and ethnicities,
sexual orientation, physical or mental disabilities, age, culture/social class.

18.while executing its purchasing activities, it prefers to work with suppliers that comply with
the principles of the Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Policy, consider
environmental health, align with Emek Elektrik’s sustainability approach and
business quality requirements. It aims to adopt its own sustainability approach to its
suppliers, and makes necessary improvements.
19.continuously develops its sustainability approach and its related practices, takes as
principle to regularly adopt and share these developments with its partners, customers
and stakeholders. Similarly, controls the risks of sustainability approaches of its suppliers,
customers and partners, supports them by conducting improvements and implementing
best practices when necessary.
20.in order to adopt and internalize the sustainability approach and to raise awareness of
sustainable employee engagement, the Sustainability Committee has been established and
actively conducts relevant workshops and trainings. Committee is comprised of executive
board members and department representatives and relevant workshops and trainings are
held.
21.The sustainability committee works for improvement and ensuring the bussiness
continuity with best quality by evaluating all risks and opportunities within the scope of
the company's strategy, vision and goals in the field of sustainability, establishing relevant
policies, integrating them into all business activities, following and complying with national

Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. considers producing sustainable technology products and providing sustainable solutions and services as its mission.
While collaborating with customers and stakeholders with responsible and accountable business ethics, it is committed to increasing the value, benefit and respect it gives to people, society, employees and the planet in line with its 360° sustainability approach and transparent sustainability communication.
The raw materials and materials we use in line with this mission and commitment are fundamental to the quality of the products and services we offer. While conducting our activities, we act in accordance with the principles of responsible production and service as per Planerath sustainability strategy, assess the raw materials and materials we use in our processes in terms of sustainability and those that are produced in the most environmentally friendly, high-quality, beneficial, responsible and accountable manner possible are consumed and used in an efficient and responsible manner.
We consider all global Suppliers as our business partners and we take it as a principle to work with those who comply with international environmental, social and ethical standards and principles. To create and leave behind a healthy planet, a habitable ecosystem and sustainable communities, we are committed to making all our suppliers adopt our sustainability values and procurement principles, informing them of these values and raise their awareness. We expect our suppliers to act in accordance with these principles in their dealings with their own suppliers, grow their area of impact and inform us and raise awareness by adopting a transparent communication style.
These principles apply to all procurement operations of all Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. companies and include the fundamental principles and rules we expect from our suppliers.
We choose our suppliers in line with the fundamental principles in line with the International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions, the United Nations Global Compact, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, all applicable national and international laws and regulations and the Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Policy of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş.
Child Labor
• Suppliers will not in any way use child labor. The minimum working age specified in Article 138 of the International Labor Organization Convention is 15 (14 for some developing countries). Workers under this age should not be employed. Employees under the minimum working age are considered as child labor.
• Young employees over the minimum working age should not be deprived of their education, protected from all kinds of factors that will damage their social, physical and emotional development and health in the work environment, and should not be employed in hazardous works.
Forced Labor
• Working should be on a voluntary basis.
• Employees should not be forced to work.
• They should not be subjected to physical, sexual, psychological or verbal abuse and illegal practices such as withholding their original identity documents should not be carried out.
• Debt bondage is strictly prohibited.
Prevention of Discrimination
• There should be no tolerance for discrimination in the workplace and recruiting, remuneration, training, promotion- and retirement-related practices as well as discrimination based on gender, age, religion, race, sect, social status, physical structure, ethnic origin, nationality, political opinion, sexual orientation, pregnancy, political opinion, union membership or any other reason.
Human Rights & Fair and Equal Treatment
• A working environment where employees are valued and respected should be established. Any kind of harassment and ill treatment should not be tolerated.
• In all kinds of workplace relations, employees should be treated fairly and in accordance with basic moral and human value judgments.
Working Hours and Remuneration
• It should be ensured that employees are provided with holidays and annual leave days in line with laws and regulations and that working hours are in accordance with the regulations.
• All employees must have legal work permits and should work under an agreement. A fair salary of at least the minimum wage should be paid and the payments should be made in a timely manner regularly. There should be no discrimination in remuneration. Annual leave, compensation, overtime pay and all side benefits should be provided within the scope of legal requirements. Working hours and overtime work should be in compliance with the laws and industrial standards.
Right of Organization and Collective Bargaining
• Employees' rights of organization and collective bargaining within the scope of legislative regulations should be respected. The employees who utilize their right of organization and collective bargaining should not be pressured and discriminated against.
Right of Association and Collective Agreement
• The right to join, become a member, be represented in trade unions and participate in workers' councils arranged by legal laws should be respected.
Occupational Health and Safety
• A healthy, hygienic, and safe work environment should be provided to employees.
• It is necessary to carry out necessary checks and maintenance, follow safety procedures
and provide protective equipment in order to prevent occupational accidents and diseases
and to minimize risks.
• Employees should be provided with occupational health and safety training on a regular
basis to raise awareness.
• Training sessions, accidents and precautions should be recorded.
• Practices should be in compliance with the applicable national laws and regulations.
Environmental Protection
• All laws, regulations and legislation regarding environmental protection (including all laws
regarding air emissions, waste, wastewater, and chemicals) should be complied with.
• Required environmental permits should be taken and their compliance with the law should be ensured.
• The supplier should work to minimize its consumption, carbon and air emissions, natural
resource usage and waste. Storage, transportation and use of chemical should be made in
a way that does not harm the environment. Disposal of waste and discharge of wastewater
should be made within the framework of environmental obligations and limits. The
environmental impact of activities to be carried out should be taken into consideration
during decision-making processes.
Ethical Principles
• Circumstances that will cause conflicts of interest should be avoided.
• No attempts that aim to disrupt, hinder or limit competition should be made.
• The intellectual property rights of partners should be protected.
Locallness
• Unless there is a supply shortage in our country, we supply raw materials and materials
from the Turkish market and prefer local alternative products with the closest
characteristics required by specifications. We supply from abroad only if the product
suitable for the required conditions and quality is not available in the Turkish market.
Entertainment and Gifts
• In limited cases, gifts and entertainment may be accepted in order to consolidate or
maintain the commercial relation. Suppliers should not accept or offer any gift that would
violate the laws or materials other than those accepted in line with commercial customs
and promotional materials, and avoid lavish entertainment activities.
Anti Corruption and Anti-Bribery
• Suppliers should not tolerate any kind of corruption and bribery in any way or to provide
financial gain, and should not receive or offer bribes and/or gifts for facilitation. No

Employee Compensation Policy
The compensation policy of our company for Employees was established on the basis of the applicable Labor Law No. 4857. Severance Pay
Employees who worked in our company for at least one year and whose employment agreement has been terminated according to one of the situations that require the payment of severance pay to the employee (or, if the employee has died, to the employee's legal heirs) specified in the provisions of Article 14 of Labor Law No. 1475, which was superseded by Labor Law No. 4857, are paid a severance pay of 30 days' salary for each full year of service
Notice Pay
Pursuant to Labor Law No. 4857, the employment agreement can be terminated by notifying the personnel working with an employment agreement of an indefinite duration whilst providing job seeking leave and also, it can be terminated immediately by paying the fee and other rights related to the notice period in advance. In the event employment agreements are terminated except for the cases written in Article 25 of Labor Law by the employer, the following notice periods apply in line with Article 17 of Labor Law:
· For an employee with a tenure of fewer than 6 months: 2 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure between 6 months and 1.5 years: 4 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure between 1.5 years and 3 years: 6 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,
· For an employee with a tenure of more than 3 years: 8 weeks following the date notice is made to the counterparty,

· complies with all national and international environmental obligations and legal regulations to which it is subject in order to control environmental impacts in all its activities;

The purpose of this Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Policy ("Policy") is to create aguide that reflects the global procurement and supply approach of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. and affiliates in line with the "Planearth" Sustainability Strategy and to adopt the approach and governance of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. in this field for all global suppliers, customers, partners, employees and all other collaborators while emphasizing its importance.

Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. considers producing sustainable technology products and providing sustainable solutions and services as its mission.
While collaborating with customers and stakeholders with responsible and accountable business ethics, it is committed to increasing the value, benefit and respect it gives to people, society, employees and the planet in line with its 360° sustainability approach and transparent sustainability communication.
The raw materials and materials we use in line with this mission and commitment are fundamental to the quality of the products and services we offer. While conducting our activities, we act in accordance with the principles of responsible production and service as per Planerath sustainability strategy, assess the raw materials and materials we use in our processes in terms of sustainability and those that are produced in the most environmentally friendly, high-quality, beneficial, responsible and accountable manner possible are consumed and used in an efficient and responsible manner.
We consider all global Suppliers as our business partners and we take it as a principle to work with those who comply with international environmental, social and ethical standards and principles. To create and leave behind a healthy planet, a habitable ecosystem and sustainable communities, we are committed to making all our suppliers adopt our sustainability values and procurement principles, informing them of these values and raise their awareness. We expect our suppliers to act in accordance with these principles in their dealings with their own suppliers, grow their area of impact and inform us and raise awareness by adopting a transparent communication style.
These principles apply to all procurement operations of all Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. companies and include the fundamental principles and rules we expect from our suppliers.
We choose our suppliers in line with the fundamental principles in line with the International Labor Organization (ILO) Conventions, the United Nations Global Compact, the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, all applicable national and international laws and regulations and the Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chain Policy of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş.
Child Labor
• Suppliers will not in any way use child labor. The minimum working age specified in Article 138 of the International Labor Organization Convention is 15 (14 for some developing countries). Workers under this age should not be employed. Employees under the minimum working age are considered as child labor.
• Young employees over the minimum working age should not be deprived of their education, protected from all kinds of factors that will damage their social, physical and emotional development and health in the work environment, and should not be employed in hazardous works.
Forced Labor
• Working should be on a voluntary basis.
• Employees should not be forced to work.
• They should not be subjected to physical, sexual, psychological or verbal abuse and illegal practices such as withholding their original identity documents should not be carried out.
• Debt bondage is strictly prohibited.
Prevention of Discrimination
• There should be no tolerance for discrimination in the workplace and recruiting, remuneration, training, promotion- and retirement-related practices as well as discrimination based on gender, age, religion, race, sect, social status, physical structure, ethnic origin, nationality, political opinion, sexual orientation, pregnancy, political opinion, union membership or any other reason.
Human Rights & Fair and Equal Treatment
• A working environment where employees are valued and respected should be established. Any kind of harassment and ill treatment should not be tolerated.
• In all kinds of workplace relations, employees should be treated fairly and in accordance with basic moral and human value judgments.
Working Hours and Remuneration
• It should be ensured that employees are provided with holidays and annual leave days in line with laws and regulations and that working hours are in accordance with the regulations.
• All employees must have legal work permits and should work under an agreement. A fair salary of at least the minimum wage should be paid and the payments should be made in a timely manner regularly. There should be no discrimination in remuneration. Annual leave, compensation, overtime pay and all side benefits should be provided within the scope of legal requirements. Working hours and overtime work should be in compliance with the laws and industrial standards.
Right of Organization and Collective Bargaining
• Employees' rights of organization and collective bargaining within the scope of legislative regulations should be respected. The employees who utilize their right of organization and collective bargaining should not be pressured and discriminated against.
Right of Association and Collective Agreement
• The right to join, become a member, be represented in trade unions and participate in workers' councils arranged by legal laws should be respected.
Occupational Health and Safety
• A healthy, hygienic, and safe work environment should be provided to employees.
• It is necessary to carry out necessary checks and maintenance, follow safety procedures
and provide protective equipment in order to prevent occupational accidents and diseases
and to minimize risks.
• Employees should be provided with occupational health and safety training on a regular
basis to raise awareness.
• Training sessions, accidents and precautions should be recorded.
• Practices should be in compliance with the applicable national laws and regulations.
Environmental Protection
• All laws, regulations and legislation regarding environmental protection (including all laws
regarding air emissions, waste, wastewater, and chemicals) should be complied with.
• Required environmental permits should be taken and their compliance with the law should be ensured.
• The supplier should work to minimize its consumption, carbon and air emissions, natural
resource usage and waste. Storage, transportation and use of chemical should be made in
a way that does not harm the environment. Disposal of waste and discharge of wastewater
should be made within the framework of environmental obligations and limits. The
environmental impact of activities to be carried out should be taken into consideration
during decision-making processes.
Ethical Principles
• Circumstances that will cause conflicts of interest should be avoided.
• No attempts that aim to disrupt, hinder or limit competition should be made.
• The intellectual property rights of partners should be protected.
Locallness
• Unless there is a supply shortage in our country, we supply raw materials and materials
from the Turkish market and prefer local alternative products with the closest
characteristics required by specifications. We supply from abroad only if the product
suitable for the required conditions and quality is not available in the Turkish market.
Entertainment and Gifts
• In limited cases, gifts and entertainment may be accepted in order to consolidate or
maintain the commercial relation. Suppliers should not accept or offer any gift that would
violate the laws or materials other than those accepted in line with commercial customs
and promotional materials, and avoid lavish entertainment activities.
Anti Corruption and Anti-Bribery
• Suppliers should not tolerate any kind of corruption and bribery in any way or to provide
financial gain, and should not receive or offer bribes and/or gifts for facilitation. No
supplier employee will offer, give or receive a gift or payment that could be perceived as
bribery. The Supplier should comply with the applicable laws, statutes and regulations on
anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
Supplier Audit Process
• Suppliers accept that audits or assessments by Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. or independent audits, including third-party audits can be carried out in line with the obligations of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. within the scope of this Policy, Agreement and/or Statements and Commitments.
• Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. undertakes to deal with all reports confidentially and to
protect those who report issues. The privacy of a person who reported a suspicious action
that violates this Policy or a potential breach of business ethics will be protected and no
retaliation toward this person will be tolerated.
• To report suspicious actions that violate this Policy or the violation of the rules in this
Policy, the following communication channels can be used.
POWERS and RESPONSIBILITIES
All Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. employees and suppliers are obliged to comply with this Policy in a transparent manner and to have this Policy adopted by its own suppliers. In the event of discrepancy between this Policy and the applicable local legislation in countries where Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. operates in, unless the relevant practice does not contradict the local legislation, the more restrictive one among the Policy and the legislation will apply. Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. Sustainability and Environment Department & Procurement Department is the unit responsible for the application of this Policy. In the event you become aware of any action that you consider to be in violation of this Policy, applicable legislation or Community procedures and standards, you can report this issue to our Company.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH and SAFETY POLICY
In order to protect the occupational health and safety of its employees and continuously improve the working environment at top quality, based on the principle of "HEALTH AND SAFETY FIRST" our company undertakes to provide and maintain the following issues while conducting its activities:
- doing business in accordance with the legislation, relevant standards and management system requirements in all sectors at home and abroad,
- aiming to keep occupational health and safety at the highest level, following technological developments and keeping these developments at the most efficient level in accordance with legal regulations,
- identifying hazards by ensuring the participation of employees with a proactive approach, predicting risks accordingly, monitoring occupational health and safety performance and ensuring continuous improvement,
- providing trainings in order to ensure that both directly the company personnel and the employees of the subcontractors are aware of their individual OHS responsibilities,
- periodically reviewing the Occupational Health and Safety Policy in order to maintain compliance with the requirements,
- improving the occupational health and safety awareness of all our field and office employees, subcontractors, suppliers, 3rd parties and all stakeholders, to create a culture of occupational health and safety and to ensure that they act safe working oriented,
- by providing the applicable legislation requirements, related standards and conditions on Occupational Health and Safety; taking all kinds of precautions, making all necessary tools, materials and personal protective equipment available and to have them used, when necessary,
- detecting unsafe situations and movements that may cause work accidents and occupational diseases, eliminating possible accident risks at their source, taking necessary precautions and corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence,
- reviewing all phases of the activities that we perform, continuously improving them and carrying out preventive and corrective works.

This Human Resources Policy ("Policy") aims to create a guide that reflects the approach of Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. and its subsidiaries regarding the value they place on people and their employees in line with the Human Resources Management and in this way, have the approach and governance to increase the value Emek Elektrik Endüstrisi A.Ş. gives to its people, stakeholders, partners, customers and the communities in all geographies it does business adopted, and to emphasize this approach.
